Ladies Golf Section

R&A have invited two players from South Africa to play in the 2024R&A 9 Hole Challenge at Royal Troon in Scotland in July 2024 which gives GolfRSA the opportunity to create the GolfRSA Race to the R&A 9 Hole Challenge!   

Port Shepstone golf members are invited to enter.

The R&A 9 Hole Challenge PORT SHEPSTONE club competition. 

This will be run at the same time as the “Hibiscus Electrical Fowl Friday” competition and players will pay only 1 competition fee. 

There will be no extra charge on the day for the R&A 9 Hole Challenge.

Note: The details of the R&A Grand Prize are to be confirmed by the R&A but are likely to be similar to the 2023 R&A Grand Prize. 

4.1 Conditions of Attending the R&A 9 Hole Challenge Final at Troon, Scotland 

The Ladies Golf Section of Port Shepstone Country Club is extremely active and competes with the best on the Coast and further afield.
The Club is always on the look out for new members and encourages visitors to participate in the competitions. Several of the ladies are amongst the top golfers on the Coast.

8 Port Shepstone Ladies entered into the Cecily MacKenzie Cup 2023 which was held at Kokstad golf club 11 & 12 February.
Competing for the Trophy were the following clubs : Margate, Southbroom, Kokstad, Matatiele, Underberg & Port Shepstone.
