Golf at Port Shepstone Country Club

Port Shepstone Country club is situated just north of Port Shestone and borders the Umzumkulu river. The course plays relatively flat with one exception, the 5 hole which is played from the side of the hill to a small and tricky green far below.

Our course combines the best of a coastal forest course with links course, the first nine playing inland and is protected from the wind by big trees and hills. The second nine is a different bag altogether, playing next to the sea with a lot less trees. This nine seems relatively easy untill the wind starts blowing, the 11th hole can play like a par 6 depending on the wind.

We have very active club members ranging in age from 9 to 85, and we encourage visitors to come and play a round of golf with us and mingle in our pub afterwards. With our big screen television the bar is usually packed when the Boks or the Sharks play. If you are a Bulls, Stormers, Cheetas or Lions supporter you are welcome too, but try and keep this to yourself.
